Surveys
The expert opinion is necessary in case of the hire purchase or the insurer requires those surveys of the ship at the purchase used. We can provide you a list of surveying companies but we can not do the surveys ourselfs.
Examining the evaluation is an inspection of the vessel in order to establish the ego of general features in order to adjust the evaluation. The inspection assumes that the vessel's structure and mechanics are in reasonable condition for age and sea or canal worthy as appropriate.
The insurance examination is performed to the purpose of the guarantee of the credibility of the ship. On vessels over twenty years old it is usual for insurers to require regular surveys.
Other insurers often require the split level of the "insurance Examination" in order to rule possible doubts out as for the technical efficiency of the ship. The normal Insurance Survey concentrates on hull condition and the general safety of the vessel, using RYA Safety Standards and relevant British Standards such as BS5482 Part 3 (Gas installations in small boats) as guidelines. The Insurance Survey report does not provide comment on cosmetic matters, build quality or fitness for purpose unless this is of significance to insurability.
